The Lodestar X2 is here! The World's favourite autoguider is now even better! With its new Sony ICX829 Exview2 CCD, it offers twice the sensitivity of the original Lodestar, making guide stars even easier to find. In addition, the autoguider output socket is now a standard RJ12 connector and so overcomes any objections to the strength of the original Lodestar cable.
Let me update on the ATIK 428EX and Gemini 2. I have managed to get the ATIK running on Astroimager but then I had some connection issues. I am not sure why. The Gemini 2 gave me trouble connecting to the AstroTelescope because I was not sure how to connect it over wifi. I am still working on this issue. I may need to connect the ATIK directly to the Mac rather than a usb hub. the ATIK camera has given me headaches when connect to PC before. I used to connect it directly to the PC and usually that helped. With my setup I have to extend USB cables using extenders and hubs. This may be the culprit.
Salut B=E9n=E9dicte, 1) The latest version is 0.8.7 2) I don't know this camera "Genius VideoCam Eye"; can you please tell me the USB Product and Vendor IDs? (see the USB pane of the System Profiler) Also why do you say it is compatible with Mac OS X? 3) The "Page Setup" is not always available, if I take a snapshot, then "Page Setup" is available when that window is frontmost.
